Bentley, üçüncü nesil Flying Spur'ün 11 Haziran Salı günü tanıtılacağını açıkladı. İngiliz üretici, tanıtım öncesi bir de otomobilin hız testi videosunu paylaştı. Aracın kaputunun altında ne olduğunu bilmesek de, motorun sesi kulağa oldukça hoş geliyor.
Daha önce ortaya çıkan haberlere göre yeni Flying Spur, en az üç farklı motor seçeneğiyle gelecek. Otomobil aynı zamanda Bentley’nin All-Wheel Steering özelliğine sahip ilk model olacak. Sistem, yüksek hızlı manevralarda arka tekerlekleri ön tekerleklerle aynı doğrultuya yönlendirerek sollama ve şerit değiştirmeye yardımcı olacak.

Ayrıca, standart yol koşullarında otomobilin ürettiği güç yalnızca arka tekerleklere aktarılacak. Bununla birlikte, herhangi bir kayma tespit edilirse, dört tekerlekten çekiş sistemi optimum çekiş için otomatik olarak ön tekerleklere güç gönderecek.
Flying Spur’ün bir başka yeniliği de, isteğe bağlı olarak süspansiyon sertliğinin değiştirilmesine izin veren, gövde sarsıntılarını en aza indirgeyerek yolcuların kendilerini her zaman rahat ve güvende hissetmelerini sağlayacak Dynamic Ride sistemi olacak.

This will be the very first Bentley to feature All-Wheel Steering enhancing both stability at cruising speeds and agility around town.
