Peugeot'un Peugeot Sport adındaki departmanı bildiğiniz üzere performanslı versiyonlar ortaya koyuyor. Peugeot Sport tarafından geliştirilen ve ülkemizde satılmakta olan Peugeot modelleri ise an itibariyle 208 GTi ile 308 GTi oluyor. Performanslı ve özel tasarımlı versiyonlar hazırlayan Peugeot Sport departmanı şimdi de yeni 508'i ele alarak bir konsept otomobil ortaya koymuş. Bu konsept 508 versiyonu, önümüzdeki günlerde yani 5 Mart'ta düzenlenecek olan Cenevre Otomobil Fuarı hedef alınarak hazırlanmış.
Yeni Peugeot 508'i de detaylı olarak görün
Yeni 508 zaten şık tasarımlı bir otomobil olduğundan dolayı bu konsept de gayet ilgi çekici bir tasarım ile karşımıza çıkıyor. Hatta bu konseptte, 2013 yılında ortaya çıkan 208 HYbrid FE ve 2015 yılında ortaya çıkan 308 R HYbrid konseptlerine benzer tasarım öğeleri de görmekteyiz. Bu saydığımız 2 model de hibrit motorlara sahip performanslı versiyonlardı. 508'in hibrit bu yeni konseptinde ana motor olarak 1.6 litrelik 4 silindirli turboşarjlı bir motor görev yapıyor. Bu motor, diğer performanslı Peugeot modellerinden de bildiğimiz 1.6 THP adlı motor ve 197 beygirlik bir güce sahip. Fakat hibrit sistemden ötürü bu motora 2 adet elektrik motoru da 508'in bu konseptinde eşlik ediyor.

197 beygirlik THP motora ek olarak aracın ön kısmında 107 beygir gücündeki bir elektrik motorunu görmekteyiz. Bir elektrik motoru da arkada yer alıyor ve o da 201 beygirlik ek bir güç daha sunuyor. Tüm bunların toplamı olarak 504 beygirlik bir güç ortaya çıkmış oluyor. Fakat bu 504 beygirlik gücün aynı anda sunulamadığı, yani aracın maksimum beygir gücünün aslında gerçek dünya değerleri ile hesaplandığında 400 beygir civarında olduğu da belirtiliyor. Yine de bu değerin çok iyi olduğunu söyleyebiliriz ki zaten hızlanma değerleri de bunu ispatlıyor.
Peugeot, bu hibrit 508 konseptinin sadece 4.3 saniyede 0-100 km/s hızlanmasını tamamlayabildiğini açıklıyor. Maksimum hız değeri de 250 km/s olarak belirtiliyor. Ayrıca aracın ürettiği tork değeri de 500 Nm şeklinde. Ayrıca aracın elektrik motorlarından birinin arkada yer alıyor olması da 4 tekerden çekiş sistemini mümkün kılmış. Bu da aracın gayet iyi bir yol tutuş sunacağı anlamına gelmekte. Bu hibrit 508 konseptinin 11.8 kWs'lik bataryaları da tamamen elektrikli bir şekilde 50 km boyunca yol alabilmesini sağlıyor.
'Peugeot, bu 508 hibrit konseptini diğer 508'lerden ayırmak için birçok görsel değişiklik de yapmış. Bunlara karbonfiber ayna kapakları, yeni tasarımlı ön tampon, parlak fosforlu sarı bazı detaylar, yeni bir difüzör gibi şeyleri örnek verebiliriz. Aracın rengi ise Selenium Gray adı verilen koyu gri renk olarak belirlenmiş. Jantları 20 inç boyutunda olan aracın süspansiyonu da standart 508'lere göre daha alçak olarak tasarlanmış. Buna ek olarak önde 24 mm'lik, arkada da 12 mm'lik bir lastik izi genişliği artışı da olmuş.
Aracın iç mekanında da Alcantara ve karbonfiber malzemelerin kombinasyonunu görüyoruz. Koltuklar da vücudu iyi saracak sportif koltuklar olarak seçilmişler. Konsolun geri kalanı ise standart versiyonlardaki gibi 12.3 inç'lik dijital bir gösterge paneli ve 10 inç'lik bir multimedya ekranı ile donatılmış.
'Bu hibrit Peugeot 508 teknik olarak bir konsept hâlinde olsa da Peugeot, bu aracın 2020'nin sonlarına doğru seri üretime gireceğini doğruladı. Fakat aracın seri üretim versiyonunda belirtilen güç değerlerinden ziyade 350 beygir civarında güç sunacağı belirtiliyor. 4 tekerden çekiş sistemi de yine konseptteki gibi bulunacakmış. En azından "508 by Peugeot Sport" şeklinde bir modelin 2020 yılının sonlarında Peugeot'un fiyat listelerinde yer alacağını bilmek de güzel bir gelişme oluyor. Konsept versiyonu ise 5 Mart tarihinden itibaren düzenlenecek Cenevre Otomobil Fuarı 2019'da canlı olarak görebileceğiz.

'508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED CONCEPT TO DEBUT AT GENEVA MOTOR SHOW

PEUGEOT will unveil the high-performance 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED concept at the Geneva International Motor Show as the brand’s electrification strategy gathers pace. The PEUGEOT SPORT team confirmed plans to develop a range of high performance electric vehicles last year and the new concept car is the first step on the journey towards electrification.
The experts at PEUGEOT SPORT took the all-new 508 Hybrid as a starting point and enhanced its design, performance and efficiency. With an advanced PureTech 200 engine and 110bhp electric motor driving the front wheels and a separate 150kW (200bhp) electric motor powering the rear wheels, the four-wheel drive 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED can accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds and hit a mechanically limited top speed of 155 mph.
This electric performance is underpinned by an 11.8kWh battery, which gives the 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED concept a zero-emission range of up to 31 miles when switched to 100% electric mode and CO2 emissions of 49g/km, on the WLTP test protocols, when in Hybrid mode.
When the concept car makes its world premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show, its redesigned front bumper, which incorporates a 3D-printed valance designed to direct incoming air towards the radiator and new rear diffuser, are just some of the exterior enhancements. The 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED concept car has enhanced aerodynamics, with flaps fitted to the subframes to reduce aerodynamic drag and streamlined winglets located on the quarter panels, where GT Line and GT monograms usually reside. This helps to smooth the flow of air.
Adding to the car’s character, the 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED concept comes with a specially designed ‘Selenium Grey’ paint finish which changes in the light and carbon fibre door mirrors, while the iconic Lion badge features the distinctive anodised finish first seen on the PEUGEOT e-LEGEND concept car.
To maximise driving pleasure, the 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED concept comes fitted with new “comfort fit” seats created with leather and Alcantara® upholstery with Kryptonite and Onyx Black overstitching enhancing the bold design.
Inside, the concept car is designed to maximise comfort and efficiency with a touch-sensitive gear lever fitted with an Alcantara® section and a sporty asymmetrical compact steering wheel covered in Alcantara® and carbon fibre inserts. The lower section of the compact steering wheel brings the design cues of the concept model straight to the driver’s fingertips with three PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED lines alternating in Kryptonite and Onyx Black overstitching.
The Alcantara® design continues through to the roof, A-pillars and quarter panels, providing excellent visibility augmented by the innovative PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®, which gives drivers intuitive access to the latest on-board technology. The cabin comes fitted with Kryptonite finishing around the door handles and dashboard, along with an all Kryptonite 10” capacitive HD touch screen and 12.3” head-up digital instrument display panel.
The innovative concept car marks the beginning of an important year for PEUGEOT, as it begins making the transition towards a fully electrified range. PEUGEOT has committed to providing an electrified version across its entire range by 2023, with the first commercial Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) model set to arrive later this year.
With a rich sporting heritage including the 908 HDI FAP and 3008 DKR, which triumphed in the Le Mans 24-hour race and Dakar Rally respectively, PEUGEOT SPORT is able to tap into a legacy of proven performance cars to inspire the engineering behind the 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED concept.
