Chevrolet, C7 kodlu Corvette modelinin Avrupa'da satılan örneklerine Final Edition adında bir özel versiyon getirecek. Final ismi C7'nin Avrupa'daki son demlerine işaret ediyor gibi algılanabilir. Bu yüzden Motor1 ekibi olarak Chevrolet'nin Avrupa kolundan René Kreis'e ulaştık ve konuyu açıklığa kavuşturduk. Kısacası hayır, C7 versiyonu Final Edition'dan sonra da hayatına devam edecek:
"Avrupa'da Stingray, Grand Sport ve Z06 versiyonlarını sattığımız Corvette'e getirdiğimiz Final Edition, sadece C7'de sunulacak son özel versiyon olma özelliğini taşıyor."
Hepimiz artık ortadan motorlu C8 Corvette'i bekliyoruz fakat Chevy, bu bekleyişi rahatlatmak için C7 üzerinde çalışmaya devam ediyor. Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde Drivers Series paketlerini duyuran papyon logolu marka, Avrupa'ya bunu Final Edition olarak yansıttı.
General Motors'un 2013'te Avrupa'dan çektiği Chevrolet, bu kıtada yoluna Camaro ve Corvette ile devam ediyor. "Yedinci neslin en üstün özelliklerini taşıyan paketi" olarak adlandırılan Final Edition sadece Grand Sport ve Z06'nın coupe versiyonlarında alınabilecek. Chevy, aracı yalnızca Seramik Matrix Grisi ve Sebring Turuncusu tonlarıyla satacak.

Final Edition tabii ki sadece farklı gövde renklerinden ibaret değil. Brembo marka karbon seramik fren diskleri, gri kaliperler, siyah alaşım jantlar, ön splitter da içeren aerodinamik paket ve karbon fiber marşpiyeler paket kapsamında sunulan ekstralar arasında yer alıyor. Grand Sport modellerinde çamurluk üzerinde hash (#) formlu logolar sunulacak.
Kabinde ise spor koltuklar, karbon fiber trim parçaları, veri kaydedici, siyah Nappa deri ve süet mikrofiber döşeme gibi artılar Final Edition'ı diğer Corvette'lerden ayıracak.
Chevrolet, Almanya'da Final Edition'ı Grand Sport'ta 116 bin 500; Z06'da ise 139 bin 500 € fiyatla satacak. İsviçre'de ise özel C7'ler için sırasıyla 130 ve 153 bin 200 İsviçre Frangı ücret talep edilecek.

Final Edition for the Grand Sport and Z06 models
ZURICH – As of now, coupe versions of the Grand Sport and Z06 Corvette models are available as a limited Final Edition, in which the best attributes of the seventh Corvette generation are combined. Among other elements, this special range of features includes Brembo® carbon-ceramic brakes, Competition sport seats, a performance data recorder, chassis calibration optimized for race tracks and – for some versions – a Z07 package, including an additional aerodynamics and Michelin® Pilot® Sport Cup 2 tires. These technologies have their origin in the racing sport. Similar technologies can also be found in the motorsport version of the Corvette C7.R and helped to secure its many international victories on the track.
In addition to its technical equipment, the Final Edition also impresses with its uncompromising appearance, which is complemented by a wide range of carbon fiber components and the distinctive exterior colors Sebring Orange Tintcoat Metallic and Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic.

This unique, seventh generation Corvette version is available for 116,500 euros in Germany and 130,000 Swiss francs in Switzerland as a Grand Sport and for 139,500 euros in Germany and 153,200 Swiss francs in Switzerland as a Z06.
Along with the current year’s model portfolio, the Corvette Final Edition is available as of now on the European market.
